Events
Almost 120,000 men and women died so that we may live in peace and freedom today. We take an active role to remember these people, along with the Veterans who experienced the hardships of war, military conflict and peace efforts, is one way of saying "thank you".
Remembering Vimy Ridge
The Remember November 11 Association will memorialize the Battle of Vimy Ridge with a ceremony to Honour the sacrifices made at this historic battle. Over 3,600 Canadian soldiers losing their lives and over 7,000 wounded.
Remembering Liberation Day in The Netherlands
This will be a ceremony to Honour and Remember the 80th Anniversary of the Liberation of Holland and the many sacrifices made by Canadians. Over 7,600 Canadians were killed fighting in or over the Netherlands.
Remembering World War 2
A ceremony to Honour and Remember those who served in World War 2 and a Tribute to the sacrifices of the Italian Campaign and D-Day.
Peacekeeper Day / Korea Veterans Ceremony
This will be London's Peacekeeper Day Ceremony, which is actually on August 9 but we are having it on the Sunday so that everyone can attend. The Korea Veterans Association will be joining us on this day.
Dieppe and Hong Kong
The Anniversary of the Dieppe Raid is August 19 and VJ Day is August 15 so we will do remember together. A new part of the monument be installed and we will be serving refreshments.
Remembrance Day Ceremony
We will be having a morning and aan afternoon ceremony at Remembrance Gardens.
